Georges COURTES

Georges Courtès, Emeritus Professor, chairs Gers’ archaeological society, which has its head office on Place Saluste-du-Bartas in Auch. In addition to his contributions to articles and books on Gascony (notably Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle and Gers, coeur de Gascogne published by Editions Sud-Ouest), he chairs Gers “county council’s” Committee for Territorial Development, Economic Affairs
and Tourism.
