Brigitte and Gilles Delluc, both of whom have doctorates in prehistory, are experts in Lascaux’ paintings and engravings, the many artefacts found in the cave and the history of their discovery. As researchers in the Department of Prehistory at France’s national museum of natural history in Paris, they took part in the scientific study of the cave conducted under the direction of Arlette and André Leroi-Gourhan. They have published two reference works – Les Recherches à Lascaux by A. Glory (pub. by Editions du CNRS) and the Dictionnaire de Lascaux (pub. by Editions Sud Ouest).
