However, Le Chapon Fin is also – and above all – synonymous with two centuries of a love of gastronomy. It was the only restaurant in Bordeaux to be awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide of 1933, and it has always welcomed prestigious chefs with exacting standards and a keen awareness of the culinary and wine-growing traditions of the Gironde area.
